Home away from home – My wife and I stayed here when it was the Gitchee Gumee and all I can say is what a difference new management makes! The staff were incredibly helpful, giving us helpful hints as to where to eat and the places to go that feature live entertainment. The room was spacious and clean. The location is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Nice and friendly – We really liked the smiling staff that greeted us after a dismal drive down to Shores. The room was very comfortable and warm with a fireplace going. We were directed to a nice Chinese restaurant for lunch. The walk to the beach was pleasant, too. It was only just across the street and through the dunes. This is a very convenient place. We will be going back.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY – I would recommend this place to any of my friends. I definitely recoomend the one bedroom condo rooms though. They have smaller, regular rooms, but skip those unless your on a serious budget, and if you are, they were still cheaper than the other ones in town (we checked around). I love a place I can go that has a kitchen to cook in, and a living room to hang out in, and a bedroom to sleep in. Slightly older furniture, but adequate. Bed soft, but comfortable. pretty Nice – Not bad...Pretty clean and easy access to your car. We had to delay our reservation for a week and they did it with no problems. Only complaint was with the people above us slamming doors untill 2 am, but when we called the front desk they took care of it. All in all a good deal for the money..we would stay again...

Worst stay EVER, will NEVER go back – I have to admit that they did have nice dishes, I think that was the only good thing about this hotel. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to even my worst enemy. We had problems before we even got there. I was called the night before my reservation being asked if I was still coming in, I replied with "tomorrow as that is when our reservation SHOULD be!" GREAT PRICE! FRIENDLY STAFF! – This was a unique experience for us, we've nevered stayed at a condo style inn before. This experience was more like a home away from home stay than the typical hotel stay. It was GREAT! Usually when you stay at a hotel you have housekeeping coming in every day unless you put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door. You do not have to worry about housekeeping here! GREAT HOTEL, I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE – This is a great hidden Gem! Now named Ocean Shores Inn and Suites, this is a great place to stay! I have satyed at many places through out Washington and this is by far the mnost confortable for the price. It doesnt hurt that it its a few short minutes walk from the beach and all of the shopping/food! I would recommend any of my friends and family to visit OS, such a comfortable stay!
