Love the meatball grinder & buffalo chicken wings always good. As for the seafood they were just OK nothing to brag about.
It's 3 years later and I am still upset over the treatment we received when my son and mother got violently ill from bad clams! My sister wrote the review 3 years ago and it just popped up in my memory feed on Facebook. It conjures up a very bad memory of how nasty the management was- I was simply trying to tell them there was a problem. They offered to give me my money back, I did not ask for it. They said my pizzas would be ready in 15 minutes. They lied, big time. By the time I got my pizzas, I was so upset I couldn't eat. Never again - I will never spend a dime in this dump again as long as I live. And I will watch these pizzas rot and swarm with maggots and enjoy every minute of it.
We had a wonderful dinner at Ocean Pizza Resteraunt and the staff was freindly and the service was good. After having a two clam dinners on August 3 , 2013 two of my family members woke in the night throwing up. We did discover there was a claim recall. My sister contacted the resteraunt to advise them of the situation and they were very defensive stating they were in business for many years. They told my sister they would give her the money back. The food a Ocean Pizza Restaurant is awesome and plentiful!! Heaping dishes of food you will not believe! Meals for one could easily feed three. Do not miss this place. Don't count on a view, though as it is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. But the view and taste of the food is all you need. Mange.
The VERY best fish&chips around in a nice, clean friendly atmosphere, at REASONABLE prices too boot! We tried the new place Belles in Ledyard, but we should have stuck with Ocean Pizza because we are never disappointed here! The grinders, gyros, and pizzas are wonderful, and they have the very best french fries in Connecticut. We always order a side dish of them because they are that good at Ocean!
Still our absolute favorite "dress down and casual" fish and chips place! Dont let the Pizza in the name fool you, ALL their food is special. The pizzas so good, sub sandwiches are amazing (ask for toasted), their french fries are a must no matter what we have for dinner, and the fish & chips are some of the best in CT!!

A unique experience. – This is my favorite pizza place anywhere (and I've tried many). I especially love the pizza I most often get: Eggplant, portabella mushroom, and artichoke. They do a fantastic job on the eggplant; it tastes so good and is generously portioned. The other toppings are excellent as well. The cons are that about 10% of the time my pizza isn't as good as usual.
