I went to Ocean Nails because the reviews and photos looked great. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I’ve lived in Charleston almost my entire life, almost to 40 years, and this is honestly the worst nail salon experience I’ve had here. I’m not sure where the good reviews are coming from. Maybe people were given a discount to leave them. Major issues: 1. No sanitation. I was never asked to wash my hands at any time during the service. 2. Dirty monomer. Been going to Amy for years now! She is so attentive to detail and my nails never lift or chip! I used to go to her three years ago, moved to Miami, and now since moving back to Charleston I’ve returned to her! She’s just that good! ☺️
