Beautifully appointed beach place
Stayed for a long weekend in May 2023 with a group of eight. With five bedrooms there was plenty of room. Spent many hours on the deck enjoying views of the ocean and cooking on the BBQ. Ocean Mist was a great base to explore the island with the highlight being the short walk to Flinders Beach to watch the sunset.
This place is AMAZING! We stayed there for the Straddie Salute weekend in May 2023 and had a blast. The house is so roomy, it has 5 bedrooms, which comfortably sleep 10 people. It has 2 kitchens and 3 bathrooms, a HUGE deck to watch the beach and sun set. The kitchen is well stocked of appliances you would expect to find at home for cooking, and of course a dishwasher! Great place to stay. Heaps of room with an awesome deck for relaxing or entertaining. Easy walk to the beach.
We enjoyed our stay. It was a nice and spacious house and a great location. Some parts of the house were a bit worn out and in need of attention: a couple of doors off their hinges, one of the toilets in the rear unit broken and leaking, and the rear unit was far from clean.
