(Journey, Kyle & Ricky really seemed that they had to be on something and definitely not sober so be careful) My experience at ocean hills was nothing short of terrible. I was completely shocked when they withheld any and every medication I had been prescribed, something I've absolutely never had an issue with at previous rehab programs. My partner was left at this facility without proper care. Apparently, this is a common occurrence in California. After spending over a week dealing with my husband's medical issues over the phone, they initially transferred him to a hospital following a heart attack. Then, they brought him back, only to send him to the hospital again after he was overdosed on Librium at the facility. DO NOT go here—it’s NOT safe!

Get help elsewhere. The management of this place should be fired and have legal action taken against them. I filed a formal complaint against two of their upper staff for mistreatment of clients and received no reply or apologies. Jason the ops manager revoked my outdoor privileges because I refused to sit in wet grass as part of "reintegration" Danielle the ops manager made fun of me in front of the group as I was kicked out and driven back to the house.
