I’ve honestly never been spoken to more unprofessionally than I was here by the head pharmacist. I’m still aghast at how I was treated by her and strongly encourage the pharmacy to reevaluate how they respond to customers. I’ve added greater context below for patrons to decide themselves, but say this as someone who did work in healthcare, advocated for myself in regards to my medication, and instead of having the pharmacist calmly answer my questions she told me she released my medications back. I was recommended Ocean Breeze by my psychiatrist, what with the never ending shortages of my medication in my area. I was ecstatic because she had such great things to say about them. Well, things that seem too good to be true often are because the clerical/front desk staff cannot read, direct inquiries to people who can, or reach out with issues instead of abandoning the case until you are suddenly wondering, isn’t it about time for a refill? Ocean Breeze is terrific. They proactively call you to make sure that your prescriptions are refilled and arrive on time. We never missed a dose thanks to them. Unfortunately, our insurance switched us to CVS specialty ... and CVS are awful people who should be banned from doing anything important, like filling prescriptions for medication... or anything else involving people, or animals, or even plants for that matter ... But they made me realize how wonderful Ocean Breeze was. Thanks, Ocean Breeze - we miss you.
By far, the best pharmacy in Staten Island. The staff here is dedicated to serving the community, and the lead pharmacist Kim truly cares for the well-being of patients seeking medical supplies. I live quite far from this pharmacy compared to many others in Staten Island, but this is the only pharmacy that went above and beyond to obtain an obscure infant formula for my child who has severe food allergies.
