To be honest, I am very reluctant to write this review. Not because I have any hesitation about recommending Ocean Break Construction or its owner, Peter. No, rather, I feel like I am sharing a secret that every homeowner covets - the name of the best contractor in the area. Yes, I am being selfish, but good, dependable and fairly priced contractors have always been almost impossible to find no matter where you live in this country (and all the good ones are tied up with a backlog of projects for months). Peter Walsh and his team at Ocean Break did an amazing job transforming our RI house. Not only did they accomplish major renovations efficiently and economically, but Peter made many aesthetic recommendations that were spot on. And Peter is just great to work with. Can’t recommend these guys highly enough!
Peter and his crew replaced my deck flooring which I wanted done and reinforced the entire frame in addtion. The deck looks wonderful. I am so pleased. Peter and his crew are excellent. Peter is a very responsible and honest man. I give 5+ stars to Ocean Break Construction. Thank you Peter for a job well done.
Peter and his crew replaced my deck flooring and reinforced the frame which I was very thankful for. The work basically was good and price was right, however issues were found later after a few days . My sons came over and they discovered several issues with the job. First was the flooring was nailed with galvanized nails instead of screws so now the nail heads are rusting and discoloring the deck boards. I did contact Peter about this he said it should not be a problem. I don't know why stainless steel screws were not used ... read more
Peter and his team were wonderful to work with. They added my beautiful front porch, and it came out beyond my expectations. It's just stunning. It was such a smooth and easy process working with him. Peter and his team worked hard and created a beautiful addition to our home. I hope to enjoy our porch for many years to come. I can't take you all enough. If I could give above Five stars I absolutelywould!
