I am from Wisconsin and spending the winter with my daughter in Ladera Ranch, on purpose, to see Dr. O’Carroll. I was diagnosed with Occipital Neurolgia with extremely painful headaches and scalp pain. I made appt with Dr O’Carroll 3 months prior to today. Dr. Ocarroll is a rare breed- he is a doctor that has actual genuine empathy. After visiting several neurologists - Dr. Ocarroll was the first to offer creative - “think outside the box” -approaches to my case- he was relentless in arguing with my PPO for authorizations - and I am happy to state that my pain has been successfully mitigated, in part. Dr. Ocarroll is a Godsend and I am happy to be his patient!
I can not express how I am grateful I am to have found Dr. O'Carroll & his staff. Unfortunately, I have experienced many doctors, so I have a lot of experiences to compare to. Dr. O'Carroll came up with a protocol to limit the amount of debilitating migraines, intensity of them & increased my functionality with daily tasks. He is so incredibly intelligent & welcoming in hearing problematic symptoms. One of the first specialists that I've felt "heard" & creating protocols both for preventention & with onset.
