Weird service. My boyfriend ordered me a water, and the bartender filled the cup up halfway and wouldn't fill it up full. He said that she gave a dismissive shrug when he looked at her to fill it up more. 5 minutes later, another server came up to my boyfriend, two of my friends, and me at a table and accused us of bringing a Cutwater. Order the shepherd's pie and the burger the pie was definitely running soupy . I will definitely not recommend the pie
Met a big group of friends here and took up the whole front space. Tables are definitely sized for 2-4 people. Great vibe overall, and close to a few other historic Chicago hotspots. Security at the door had a stellar attitude. Blew my mind when the waiter came by to let me check out of my own single tab. I thought for sure I’d be dealing with a Venmo pool from the 20+ people that showed up. I only had a couple apps off the menu, but would come back to try more.
