I've bought 3 bikes from Dan and Carrie and the reason is simple-they know their business and are honest. They will make sure the bike you buy is right for you and your style of riding. They will not oversell you or pressure you in to something you don't need. Give them a chance when you're in the market for a bike. You will not be disappointed.
We loved our experience at Ocala Bicycle: bought 2 bikes and all the accessories. Carrie and Dan will help you find the right bike for you and your needs. No high-pressure sales pitch and honest expetienced advice. Prices are good and they service their bikes. Would definitely recommend this small family owned and operated business.
I must say...after 3 straight days of shopping around for my perfect bike, I really enjoyed my time at Ocala Bicycle shop. I felt comfortable talking Dan on my first day; his time and shop were not overly testosterone filled. I never bought a bike from a bike shop before, and I really didn't know what I wanted. We had a friend visiting from Virginia and took her out for a bike ride in NW Marion county. Her bike was making a lot of noise and shifting poorly so we detoured 7 miles over to OBC to see if they could help. They stopped what they were working on and quickly diagnosed the problem as a missing spacer on her rear cassette. She had recently had it replaced. This place is awesome!! It's the first place I went to inquire about bikes for triathlons. Dan was very knowledgeable & listened to my fitness goals. Dan's level of expertise & professionalism had me purchasing a bike site-on-scene. & because my experience went so well, my husband them purchased a bike within the next couple of days.
