I had two very disappointing experiences with the front desk staff here. The first time was when I called because I had missed my appointment, and the second was when the doctor didn’t show up. On both occasions, the front desk was extremely rude. They constantly talk over you, try to act like they’re being “over smart,” and don’t give you the chance to explain yourself. I had a really great experience with Jamie Jefferson NP, she conducted my visit and examination in a way that is so humanly. I usually prepare myself for visits to be very procedural and robotic, but Jamie has a way of making you feel seen. She models exemplary care and I believe will be an important voice for people of color represented in this field.
Waste of time. I was referred for high risk. Had to drive from Salem to Boston every time, and in the end - that means every week. Third pregnancy. I told them I wouldn't make it if I went into labor. I never make it to 39 weeks, and that's when I was scheduled to be induced. I gave birth at 38 weeks an 6 days, and was 8cm dilated by the time I got to a hospital 10 min from my house.
