My experiance with John O'Brien was not good. I picked out a tree last year, and he said his tractor was not running and would deliver it when the tree, a hoop pine. He didn't get back to me and ended selling it to someone else. He sold me a Asian fir which had a bare section for seven hundred dollars. Ah, yes; John is a true plantman and is able to marry that style with a personality that draws you into his work. Imagine the pleasure this past July, when our Garden Group visited, as the sun was dropping below the tree line to provide relief from the humidity to have a tour of John's entire grounds (it's not just a nursery; it's a landscape).
