Obélix is a cozy place; A little tight on the elbow room, but the food and service is amazing. The Tomato Tart special was a perfect pairing of creamy goat cheese with the flavor of the blanched tomatoes. The Beef Wellington was devine – without a doubt it was the best I've ever had. The pastry crusts used in all of the dishes was perfectly flaky and elevated the flavor of everything. I would love to dine here again to try one of the duck entrées.
My brother and I are in Chicago for a football game this weekend. We decided to hit up this restaurant primary because of the name. Obelix is a childhood comic that we have all loved growing up.
