RecommendedI am a Lionel O-scaler from birth. I love the "LEGACY" system that gives you real life train sounds and movement, including smoke volume, crew talk and braking sounds. I've been to 3 train stores in the Phoenix area. This is the only place I shop. I've even ordered from here via e-mail. I prefer to go into his shop and look at all the options available and talk train. Prices match on-line. It's worth the trip every time.

I just got into trains, N-scale to be exact. I have found Obie's Trains to be the best train store in the Valley. It's a long drive for me but totally worth it. The owner is always there to help with extensive knowledge of the hobby.
What an amazing experience to come into visit and find a FULL train store of inventory, great prices, well presented displays!!! Obie was very willing to answer any questions, address the needs of my husband that is in process of setting up his new train set. Great selection, nice atmosphere. Obie is very friendly and knowledgeable.. It was my first time there and I'll be back even though it's a bit of a drive. I used to go to Roy's Train World until they closed.
