Cashiers here take their jobs way too seriously. The Mississippi id app exists for the sole purpose of not carrying or having the hassle of keeping up with a physical id/ drivers license. Why marathon stores feels that they cannot accept a verified digital copy of your license/ id card in 2024 is....ehh just tell me you're from Mississippi without telling me you're from Mississippi.
the young guy in the black shirt is very inconsistent on prices. Told me it was $9.36 which I knew was wrong but paid out of necessity. Another time he tried to get me for $10 something. Today! $11.96. Mind you I’ve asked for a half tube each time. But when the actual owners are there I get charged proper prices. I have never paid more than $5 and some change for HALF a tube. If you are going for crickets go early in the day and not when the young guy in the black shirt is there. He always wears it.
My family is from central Louisiana. One of my sons attends college in Clinton. When he had tire problems I called Amanda at Obie’s, and discussed resolution options. Amanda and Paul have now been able to get my son back on the road after two tire issues, both times with professional and courteous service, all while I did not have to leave home. So kind! The staff at Obie's went out of their way to help me when I had a defective tire from a different tire company in Clinton. They were more interested in helping me than making money. I trust them and will definitely give them my business, especially after the other tire dealers refused to help me after my brand new tire from them went out. Obie's is great!!
