After having bad experiences at other OBGYN providers I gave this one a try. First off, the location is accessed directly from the parking lot with no hassle of stairs or elevator! To do blood labs, you simply go across the street to another ground floor which is so convenient. All of the nurse staff have been very attentive, respectful and kind. They have violated Cal. Health & Saf. Code § 1367.695 by refusing ob/gyn care without referral/authorization. California law as well as Affordable Care Act mandate direct access to ob/gyn for female patients without the need for referral/authorization from another provider. As female doctors serving female patients, they should advocate for women’s health instead of putting obstacles on their pathway to essential care. Absolutely miserable level of service. Nasty staff and horrible communication with parents. They will demand that you rearrange your life and schedule appointments months in advance because they claim to care about prenatal care; you WILL receive an after hours voicemail changing your appointment thereafter with zero option on your part. Suck up the deductible and go anywhere else if you want pleasant or competent prenatal care.
