Maybe the 3rd worst reuben I've had. The bread was so soggy, lacked flavor, and sauce. The beers are good. Our server did a great job with our big group. My husband says the burger was good.
We were in Springfield for the Route 66 Mother road festival. Decided to try early dinner at obed and Isaac's. We were a party of four, got right in, the place was very busy. We tried a couple brews, they were really, really good. The Ditzy Blonde is a winner. Service was great, the food was delicious. Highly recommend a visit if you're in Springfield Illinois.

We were referred here after visiting the Lincoln House. We were told to try a Horseshoe so we did. I got the burger version and my friend got a pork version. Both of us spent the rest of the day running back and forth to the bathroom. The service was super slow and even though we had an hour and a half before our tour we barley made it.
Tough night for this restaurant. Once they got busy, the kitchen couldn’t keep up. Burger was decent, dessert (gooey cake) was like a sugar bomb in a bad way. I’d suggest passing on dessert altogether, unless you are low on blood sugar! Service at bar was meh at best. Bartender looked and acted over worked. Seems like staff was confused at various times as well. Seems like new management could fix these problems.
