About this business
History Established in 2012. Our story began over 150 years ago, when Obed Lewis married Cordelia Iles and built their family home on the corner of Seventh and Jackson Street, just one block west of the Lincoln home. The Lewis' three children, William, Kate and Mary, became close friends with Mary Todd and Abraham Lincoln's children. Being the family home, it was passed down through the generations until the 1930s, when it was sold and converted into commercial office space. Had an amazing time at Obed & Isaac’s! The service was great—friendly and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, and the beer was absolutely awesome with plenty of great options to choose from. Highly recommend stopping by for a fantastic meal and drinks!
This was literally so bomb…. I love a Rueben, one thing about me is if there’s a Rueben I’m going to get the Rueben…. And it was so buss I couldn’t even finish it there. I took the second half to go and ate it cold the next morning and BOOM! STILL BUSS!! And y’all idk how this escaped me all my 22 years of life in ALABAMA but I have never eaten potato salad so I was like yeah let me be adventurous let me try it!!! Omg….. clap if u like potato salad!
