About this business
History Established in 2012. Our story began over 150 years ago, when Obed Lewis married Cordelia Iles and built their family home on the corner of Seventh and Jackson Street, just one block west of the Lincoln home. The Lewis' three children, William, Kate and Mary, became close friends with Mary Todd and Abraham Lincoln's children. Being the family home, it was passed down through the generations until the 1930s, when it was sold and converted into commercial office space. First time is Obed. Server was very friendly. The beer flight was interesting, tried new and different style beers. I got the lamb burger. And it was pretty good. Maybe missing a jalapeño lol but it was good.

My Reuben was lacking meat and the bottom piece of bread was soggy, so I removed it, yuck. The feta salad had ZERO feta. The server never returned to check on the order once delivered so had no chance to get order corrected until it was time to give us the check. I get it if you are short employees, so the food needs to be spot on if you’re stretched too thin to give better service.
While out and about we were told this was a great place to stop for lunch. We got the pulled pork nachos. They were great. Served with pita bread instead of chips which made them even better. My bear was good. Service was friendly and fast. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if your visiting town.
