Great doctors, friendly staff, and yes sometimes it’s hard to get a relatively soon appointment, but I would wait knowing I was getting the best care. I saw several doctors in this office, once I delivered at main campus I was visited by one of my doctors I was regularly seeing. The whole pregnancy to birth process is very well organized. I also felt well informed throughout the whole process.
Waiting times like no other. They call you in 15 minutes prior to appointment only to wait another at least 30-50minutes beyond your scheduled appointment time! Every. single. Time. It’s the worst. If you can, go anywhere else.
This office and their receptionist are the WORST! I cannot believe cedars with its reputation has hired such under-qualified staff to manage its phone lines. It takes 30min on average to get a human on the phone, they are all giving out wrong information about next available dates. So lucky I double booked a St. Johns visit and will continue my prenatal checks with a normal establishment. I can't get any MD office to call me back to schedule an appt. You can't book newly pregnant patient appts online. You call multiple offices leave messages, no one returns the message/call. You speak to the operator who sends the referral for new pt to their offices directly, still no response. Frustrating. Extremely disappointing.
Unfortunately, I had a few questionable experiences here, but I'll share the most scary: When I moved to LA, I wasn't able to get in as a new patient for several months, so I saw the NP instead of the doctor. I requested a nexplanon birth control implant (which I've had in the past with no issues). They didn't have any on site, so I had to wait for them to order the device. The NP was very kind and personable, and I honestly loved interacting with her, but it became clear that she didn't have much experience with nexplanon. ... read more
