Unfortunately, I echo the low reviews of Dr. Capurro. I was at the hospital a in labor and Dr. Capurro- who was not my regular Ob, came in telling me that I needed a C section. I wanted to see if a vaginal birth was possible. She looked at me after laboring for 30 minutes and said, we can do this at 2 a.m. when everyone is tired or we can do this now while we are awake! If I could leave zero stars I would. This lady is awful. She walks in likes she on something. Moving trash cans and chairs around. Asking me about my pernicious anemia literally 7x. I’m naked waist down already per Medical assistant. For and Endometrial biopsy. No warning, Dr. CAPURRO puts something in me down there. I told her stop several times she wouldn’t. Genuinely surprised this woman has any positive reviews at all. 5 years later and I’m still haunted by how she treated me when I had to transfer after a failed Home birth. I will NEVER forget (or forgive her for) when she walked into the room, didn’t address me at all and AGGRESSIVLY checked my cervix without consent. Listening to me literally Yelp in pain, crying for her to stop (as witnessed by my support people). She's been my OBGYN for about 16yrs, she is amazing. So thorough and she really cares about her patients. I've had her care for me during 5 pregnancies and couldn't imagine trusting anyone more. ♡
