Update: This has been resolved, but my brother had to travel a few hours to talk to them in person. They did not resolve it till after several calls and his visit. My grandparents’ monument in Salem Cemetery was destroyed over 4 years ago. The insurance paid Oates Monument the money to restore it, yet after many phone calls, the only thing we are getting is excuses. I order 2 tombstones for my brothers last year in February. Michael told me it would be ready in about 3 months. When I called them in 4.5 months. His wife said it would be about 12 months. I said he didn't tell me that initially. Then a year passes by I approve the designs on the stones however I did not like the font. I find a font that I like sends it to them. The wife emails me back I changed the font as requested. I said approved. That was the only thing I had an issue with was the font. She changed the design as well. ... read more
