i have mixed feelings. i appreciate the work that the clinic does in preventing deaths and stopping opiod use ( which reduces crime and improves lifestyles). however the taper program needs more review. i know several people who have been on methadone for 10 years or more, so really the methadone has become a synthetic replacement for the other opioids. maybe there could be more focus on treating the comorbidities like depression, anxiety, and mental health of patients so they can learn to live life completely drug free. tha... read more
Although I’ve had the same experience where they lied to your face, tell you you’re file has disappeared, and you have to restart and dose in front of them every day, just because you told them you were counting down…. Can’t have that! Lol now dose infront of us everyday 🙄….. although I’ve treated with nothing but respect here so far… sometimes u gotta fight for yoour healthcare preference, which you have a right to have. Hard to convey in words the selfless work this team consistently does on both a personal & societal level for this community. I was hospitalized in my early twenties with double pneumonia & severe opiate withdrawal symptoms & since my referral here this team has unabashedly been by my side for every step & misstep of my recovery.
They lie right to your face. They want trust but the dr. That I saw is a bold face lier. I can't believe that she did that. As far as I'm concerned the oatc is a joke.
