Cassandra Tarentino is not a safe therapist for queer clients. She made multiple questionable comments towards me and was visibly uncomfortable every time I spoke about my girlfriend. She was also just super unhelpful and difficult to work with. I left incredibly disheartened that i had given her money for so long. Literally a terrible experience.

I have been meeting with Dr. Linda since November of last year. I can't begin to tell you the time she has spent with me has really changed my attitude in a very positive way. I am so grateful. I wish I could give her 10 stars.

Warning for prospective clients of color: I was working with Cassandra Tarentino a few years ago, but talking about racial issues/racial trauma was really difficult. One example that stands out was that we were having a conversation about non-Black people saying the N word, and she said something along the lines of "is there any word so harmful that it can't be said?"
