Oasis lives up to its name. A cozy, safe place in the city. Very clean, safe, great location, friendly staff. Nice attention to details. Wonderful to coffee &breakfast in house as part of very reasonably priced room. (especially in Boston which is priced so high) A gem!
The old man that runs this place is an evil person! Don't take my word for it, go look at all the other poor reviews of this place on Google or any other site that has reviews. Most of the positive reviews of this place will be about location (it is pretty close to Fenway Park), or it's relative affordability. But the man that runs the place is not a good person at all! I was in town for a conference. It was a great place to stay. Conveniently located, clean, pleasant, and super comfy bed.
There are actually two guest houses under the same management: the Oasis and Adams a few doors apart. I booked the Oasis but stayed in the Adams. It was meticulously clean and well maintained. Whoever decorated it has some taste. Breakfast was a plus. I stayed in one of the cheapest rooms (shared bath, double bed, room 3’ wider and 4’ longer than the bed). Loved staying here. Came from England for a conference. Great location, good breakfast and nice rooms that resemble old English houses. Thank you. Ps for those planning to stay here, read carefully the instructions, they helped me plan and pack accordingly.
