I called to make a reservation by phone, but the daytime manager on the other end pushed me off, saying "I have guests who want to check in so you would be on hold for a long time." He did not offer to take my number and call me back. Rather. he was pushing me to make the reservation on the website, but I said I preferred to make the reservation on that phone call. We found Oasis to be lovely! It was clean, comfortable and charming. Very convenient location and friendly staff. The free breakfast was very good!
Excellent location in a quiet and totally accessible area of the city. Berkeley, Fenway, Newbury all walking distance. Owners and employees who care about hospitality. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Clean. Beds a little stiff but who am I to judge.
Quaint accommodations in a great location. The Oasis Guest House faces a sleepy side street, nestled within the Berklee College of Music campus and is steps away from bustling Newberry Street, the Green Line, and much more. Rooms are small and economical, as expected. Staff was great. Limited paid parking available in rear alleyway but a very tight fit. Only disappointment was that our mattress was uncomfortable.
