I went to Oasis Dental in Ridgefield today (September 30, 2026) for a checkup and cleaning. After the exam I was told I needed deep scaling. I explained to the hygienist that I am a redhead and that local anesthetic often does not work well for me. That has been true since childhood. If extra time is not built in and numbness is not confirmed, scaling is extremely painful, which is why I have a long-standing aversion to dental care. Oasis Dental has been fantastic! Everyone is so kind and thorough. They never try to upsell me on products and are willing to work with my budget. Everyone answers my questions with patience and kindness. At my most recent visit, I needed tooth gems removed that I was fully willing to pay for but they removed them for free, no questions asked!

Terrible. I only put 1 star because I have to. Otherwise big zero. Screwed up my crown placement and damaged my gums on one side to where I still have paid. Asked for a refund but they wanted to just get me back in. Im not having someone who can't do it right the first time have another try at it. This is after they referred me out for a root canal and post, which was not cheap, just to have them screw up a crown and cause unnecessary pain. Because I denied numbing for my crown placement its almost like he wanted to see how ... read more
