Great place – I had the best dinner at Oasis Caf
Good Food This restaurant had really good food. However, you can only eat outside which I don't like. Especially on hot windy days. I would recommend eating here when it is a little cooler. The food was tasty and the servers were nice.
Best place to sit & wait for nothing! – We were never even offered a glass of water & we sat there for about 20 minutes. This was a Tue afternoon, so it wasn't busy. We walked out & got a pleasant thank you, have a nice day from the clueless hostess who sat us at our table. I wish I could comment on the food because the menu looked good. My patience was tested, they FAILED!!
Awesome views Located right near Los Olas but on A1A and the beach, Oasis Cafe is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Food is pretty good and priced reasonably. The only problem would be that most outdoor seating is on sliding seats, which could get a little nauseating after a while!
Oasis View We stopped by the Oasis Cafe while waiting for our flight out of Ft. Lauderdale airport. Beautiful early evening view of the ocean across the street and Kite Surfers and Roller Skaters from our "glider" table. What a wonderful way to spend our last hour in Florida. The food was great! We had Mahi Mahi sandwiches which were perfectly prepared. The sandwiches came with chips and would have preferred fries, but the sandwiches were filling.
The Oasis Cafe is one of the musts for anyone in Fort Lauderdale. You haven't been to Fort Lauderdale until you have dinner at the Oasis Cafe or a drink or two at the Tiki Bar. The atmosphere was relaxing, the swing tables are comfortable, I asked if I could take one of the swings home. The tiki bar made a fruit wine that was out of this world! Oasis Cafe ~ Home of Glider Dining Glider dining? Why yes! You know all those glider swings which resemble booths, but they move? They started right here at the Oasis Cafe on the southern end of Lauderdale Beach. I love these things. They just make eating a little bit more fun.
