Stayed here during our stay on fogo island, clean and comfortable
Good place to stay overall. Comfortable beds and everything you need in the house, all you need is food for the most part. The major issue with this house is the water. The house is on a well system but it is very poor quality. The water is brown with muddy pieces in it and smells like sewer. You literally cannot even wash your hands, forget a shower. When you flush the toilet, you need to immediately close the washroom door to prevent the smell from going through the house. We needed to wash with bottled drinking water duri... read more
This is a lovely house to rent on Fogo Island. Well equipped and comfortably furnished, the deck and kitchen offer beautiful views of Stag Harbour. Everything was provided, right down to fire wood for a fire pit. King sized bed in the master was a lovely surprise in a traditional home. Great location and lots of space for a family or couples travelling together.
