A Great Experience I recently bought a used car and needed some repairs. Don and James were awesome. They fixed the repairs in a timely manner and the prices were very reasonable. In addition, a friend of mine had a small leak and they repaired the leak and would not charge him. The leak was s small o-ring at the radiator. My friend was impressed with the integrity of this shop. He stated they could have easily charged him for the hour labor as it probably took like 20 minutes to repair the problem. They couldn't explain why I was being over charged I had gone to Oasis a few times and had some good experiences. I thought that I had found a good mechanic, then I experienced what I did today. They had given me an estimate of 80 dollars then called and said I owed 140 dollars. I asked concerning the charges and they tried to make something up by saying that I have to pay them over 15 dollars to dispose of the oil. long-term customer I have been taking my cars to Oasis Automotive in Henderson for three or four years. I feel so fortunate that a friend of a friend recommended this shop because I'd had some really awful experiences with other shops/mechanics in the past.
BEST MECHANIC EVER! Oasis is the BEST!!! I used to call around and comparison shop -- they were always the CHEAPEST, and the repairs have always been A++. Once I went to pick up my husband whose car was being repaired there. I happened to mention that I was driving to LA the next day and my brake lights and turn signals were out. Dan didn't have any new parts available. So, right then and there, he popped in some used taillights and wouldn't charge me a thing! THANKS DON & OASIS!!! As a single mother of 3, money is always an issue. From the moment I meant Don @ Oasis, I was taken care of, explained to, in detail, as to what my car needed and why, what the costs were and time frame for completion...all aspects were handled and completed within the time frame and dollar amounts quoted...besides the friendly atmosphere and all around knowledge of Don himself...I would highly recommend this mechanic and his repair shop to all. Finally an Honest Mechanic Recently I had a vehicle fail the state smog test. Thinking the best bet would be to take the vehicle into the dealer, I discovered they wanted close to $2K to fix my problem, "no other way around it". Not to mention any names but their initials were Henderson Chevrolet. I then found Don at Oasis via this website. He was able to take care of the vehicle with a tuneup. After $90.00 in labor + parts, and few hours later the vehicle passed the smog test and was running great. Highly recommend.
Great mechanic-done on time If you are looking for a good mechanic on american or import cars go to Oasis. The mechanic is very good and your car is done at the time said. Also has car for you to take home should your vehicle need to stay overnight for work. Prices are not out of line and never are you charged for work that is not needed on your vehicle.
