I don’t know if I think im a believer in treatment but if you send your kid anywhere this was one of if not the best place I went and I was in treatment for 2 years and went a lot of different places I think treatment is cool because it’s a life experience which even when life experiences suck in the moment they are still valuable but I will say I tried really hard in treatment and thought I was better but my darkest days in my life have been in the 3 years since I’ve been home from treatment the things you learn in treatmen... read more

Here is what we have seen and experienced, firsthand, with Oasis in Millcreek, for years: 1. Kids in their pajamas all day long 2. Kids outside listening to explicit music and using foul language, constantly 3. Kids yelling, cursing and throwing things at the neighbors 4. Kids being “supervised” by other young adults 5. Kids climbing over the fences 6. Employees on their cell phones while “supervising” kids

We are very happy about our experience at Oasis. It gave our son a re-set from self harm and suicidal ideation. The staff are awesome. Cristell is an amazing therapist and our son developed great relationships with so many of the staff. They do lots of recreational activities like hiking, going to the rec center, trampoline parks, ice skating, etc. There is a great weight room downstairs, a large basketball court, etc. They even bought a lacrosse net since our son and another kid liked playing. I went here back in October and I can say my experience was absolutely horrible. First of all, a male staff member purposefully put eggs in my face knowing I didn't like them. Also the holds they did were very painful and they would just hold you till you calmed down they didn't offer you calming things or stuff to help calm you down, no, they just got up in your face while they held you down. Also at night there was all male staff on the girls side which i freaked out upon hearing because I am not comfortable with that. Any... read more
