This was the worst chance of a lifetime fishing charter ever! The boat was booked for 5 people but only had 4 total customers. The captain was not friendly, snacks and drinks were not offered as advertised and our success rate was terrible. Active jumps visible all around our boat in the distance and captain never changed his pattern, weights depths, baits etc… Obviously we all were wanted to catch Kings but after 2 hours of no success it seems a change in bait or technique would be warranted. While we did catch fish, I still think it's not good business to charge Four adults and two kids and only have 2 rods available. We had to take turns. You should just take out 2 people but then, you wouldn't make as much money.
Went salmon fishing with Hunter as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything that was going on. He knew exactly where to go for the best activity. We had a great time and each of us caught salmon. We got off the boat and they were ready to get our info to ship our catch back home. It is rather expensive to ship back home but well worth it. Oasis is very organized, knowledgeable and above all friendly. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
Great charter company. Captain was knowledgeable and so friendly. We caught our limit in halibut.
