Dr Gupta , Gina the receptionist and all the staff could not have been more helpful when my father was poorly last week . Very responsive. Dispatched the rapid response team to admit my father to hospital . Arranged follow up appointments with relevant members of the team to discuss medication and support . Thanks so much .
My experience at this practice was nothing short of appalling. The practice manager treated me with blatant disregard and condescension. When I asked a perfectly reasonable question about antenatal care and navigating the NHS system during pregnancy, she literally said, “Well, I still don’t understand what you’re saying, but OK.” Not only was this dismissive and unhelpful, it revealed a complete lack of intellectual curiosity, basic empathy, and professional courtesy. I had been meaning to write this review based on numerous positive experiences with Shirley the practice manager. Working in primary care myself, I often communicate with my surgery via patches / virtually and on each occasion Shirley and her team have been amazing at helping manage my personal medical needs. Thank you Shirley and co for the stellar service during an ever challenging time in primary care. Keep up the great work
I wonder if the receptionist at Oakwood Medical Center has changed recently, because I encountered someone so polite and kind that it truly stood out. In my nearly five-year journey with this GP, this was the first time everything felt so smooth and effortless. If this is a permanent change, I’ll be genuinely happy—but if it’s temporary, I’ll be disappointed to see it go.
