JR was very professional, patient and helpful during the planning of our mother’s funeral services, and on the day of the service. There were no unfamiliar faces or mistakes. He responded to calls and emails quickly, had everything ready for our choices including a lovely wooden urn, beautiful flowers, a personalized guest book, memory card, and lovely video of pictures we downloaded to his portal. I would highly recommend Oakwood funeral home.

My mother recently passed away unexpectedly. JR and the Oakwood staff were thoughtful and supportive as I was managing my father's death from out of state. I appreciated their patience and the ease of communication with them under my challenging circumstances. They were able to prioritize getting his death certificate issued so that I could pick it up while I was briefly in town a week after his passing.

I could not have asked for a more caring and compassionate team to walk alongside me after losing my husband at such a young age. They took care of everything, answered all of my questions, and made suggestions when decisions were heavy. There is nowhere else I would recommend for my loved ones.
