Dr. Mark Ruggeri and staff are extremely accommodating and flexible. They are competent and make you visit as pleasant as possible. Katie and Brooke are always there to assist in any needs you may have. Dr. Ruggeri is the best dentist I've ever visited. I recommend him highly.
I was a new patient at the Oakwood Dental Arts in staten island. Needed a new crown for a tooth and the crown came in 4 times with issues. I had to take time and leave work early, or one instance took the day off which turned out to be a waste because i lost a days pay for nothing. One crown was very slim and gave me a gap and the assistant was pushing for me to take it. She said it gave me character. I looked like Tyson or Strayhan. Today I woke with major pain in my tooth. I called around and Oakwood Dental Arts was the only one to see me right away. Dr. Ruggeri was very accommodating and understanding of the pain I was in. I had an emergency Root canal done and I have to say it was not that bad. Dr. Ruggeri and his staff was very professional and explained everything. Will be moving all my records to this office and telling everyone I know.
I use to go to a dentist around the corner from the Oakwood Dental Arts office off Guyon ave and some of the work I had done was questionable. I have had nothing but problems until Dr Pannone and Then Dr. Ruggeri took over. Since then It has been great even was able to have an extraction and implant placed the same day in the same office. It is nice not having to run from one doctor for the fillings to another doc for the extraction there is something to say about having everyone in one building. Was a new patient this week. A friend made me go here and I am glad he did I have been chicken of dentist my whole life but from the front desk to the women Tonni who cleaned my teeth and eventually to Dr Mark Ruggeri it could not have gone any smoother. They were very knowledgeable in a clean safe beautiful facility. Will spread the work about this office. Oh get this they even whiten your teeth for free.
have been going to oakwood for about 5 years now and I have never been disappointed. Over the years they have work with me financially as well as when I have been in pain. The doc's are always available and the hygienist I usually use is Annmarie. All the doctors are good that I have seen but I feel most comfortable with Dr. Ruggeri.
unrofessional.. worst ...just came back for a scheduled "consultation" with D. Rao. I was there last month foe exam at which ex rays were done- You ould think a profesional dentist will have a discussion with me the patient before submitting allkinds of work for approval with a union dentist- there was no discussion- that day so i went back today- waied one hour he comes in- barely a discussion- then send inthe hygienist to talk with me- uh hello i didnt come for aconsult with a hygienist= incompetent office- no one in charg... read more
I was recently at this office. Iwas told to see Dr. Ruggeri and was glad that I was. It is a pleasure to go to an office were the dentist is real if you know what I mean. I highly recommend this office esp Dr. Ruggeri. Its clean friendly and state of the art.
Office is looking to recruit new patients so they go offer a Groupon. I make 3 appointments for family members on various days. First family member goes, has insurance and was told there would be a $15.00 co-pay in advance. Sees dentist, and is told they have a cavity, dentists says would you like to have it filled and patient replies yes. Upon completion patient is told you now owe $105.00!!!! There was no conversation about a fee if cavity is filled, how can one complete a service without telling patient there is a fee??? ... read more
