This beautiful new gym looks more like an alpine ski chalet than a workout facility. – In Short Opened in June 1998, the exclusive Oakwood Athletic Club quickly sold out of its 3,200 memberships. The 10,000-square-foot weight room overlooks the airy Grand Hall and contains dozens of Cybex and Ground Zero weight machines and free weights. Cardio equipment is also located on this level. A sparkling six-lane, 25-yard outdoor pool is available for lap swim, lessons and aqua fitness classes.
