For the very expensive costs (over $1000 plus than other retirement homes) the value is not worth it. You pay for the pool and the opulence of the look of the home but the staff turnover is high, 3 chefs in the very short time my Mom was there. And the staff complain how over worked they are as they are doing multiple jobs. My 80 yr old Mom was there only a few months and every day was an issue that should not arise given the costs you pay. Such a beautiful facility and the staff really make the residents (and visitors) feel special. The property is super clean and maintained. The food is also excellent and this genuinely is a real comfy home with extensive amenities!

I toured Oakville Estates recently and was really impressed. The building is bright, clean, and welcoming, and the staff were all so friendly. The suites are a good size, and the common spaces feel comfortable and inviting. I especially loved the bar area, it is beautiful and creates such a nice atmosphere for residents to gather and enjoy themselves. Overall, it gave me a very positive and warm feeling
