Keep in mind- this "Oakview Terrace" was added recently after the bad reviews at the REAL "Oakview Terrace Assisted Living" location started getting lots of bad reviews. Make sure you look up "Oakview Terrace Assisted Living" for the real reviews on this place. That being said, HCA, the company that runs this location, needs to seriously examine the business practices going on at this facility. Administrator is combative, retaliatory and noncompliant with statutory requirements for assisted living facilities, the food is awful and maintenance of the structure is put off to save money (automatic front door not working, 2 out of 2 elevators not functioning for more than 24 hours.
The food is awful. The medication distribution is nothing short of malpractice. I had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for a pain pill. It is common to have to wait 40 minutes to an hour if your medication is due at 3 or 4 am. The administration knows about this and excuses the delay in medication distribution to the staff having to change diapers. Stay away from here!!!
Extremely caring and dedicated staff, however completely infested with bed bugs. Management tries to help however corporate will NOT address the situation.
Recently came for a tour and was really impressed by the devoted and caring staff as well as the new furnishings in facility
