Do not take your car to this auto shop. They charged me $470 to change my front brake pads and rotors. Days later, my front brakes were grinding and squealing. I took my car to a different (more trusted) mechanic and found out that Kai at Oakton & Hamlin Auto Services used the cheapest ceramic brake pads possible and installed them with poor quality of work. On 6/4/2025 , I called this place and spoke to Kai about heat shield on part of exhaust, this piece is about 12”, it was loose so I ask him to fix it, he said it’s small job and charge $60 for 1/2 hour, was ok with me, I dropped the car at 11am (my lunch time, I Work in that area) and told him I will picked up at 2:30. When I came to pick it up , went inside to pay, he said he could not welded because it was rusted so he attached it with 2 hose clamps (6” each ), I thanked him and pay $60 and left, when I got home I checked ... read more
