These apartments are trash! The homeless people are taking over inside the gates. I moved out September 2nd of this year. I made sure the apartment was spotless when I moved out. And since they couldn’t charge me for the apartment, not being clean, they decided to charge me $400 for four holes that were in the wall where my TV was hanging, they went on to say that the wall would have to be re-sheet rotted because of the holes. The Oaks at 5th Street has been our home for several years now. The staff has treated us like family. Clean facilities with a maintenance team that stays on top of it. Anytime I’ve had an issue (very few) Donnell Singleton had it taken care of in a very timely and professional manner. He is the BEST! They will forever be considered our family.
