Just as I remember it without the Hauf Brau, but still good super clean and friendly. I have to come here and get the Chinese food which is what I used to always get.
I grew up going here. If you want a good sandwich, stop by. I go pretty basic here, roast beef on a french roll, dipped. The roll is almost the star, great San Francisco sourdough, the roast beef is tender and sliced thin. The side salad is nothing much and the whipped potatoes with gravy are really good too. I'm enjoying my food here with a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
I got take out there it was very good.
Excellent service, top notch hofbrau and the Chinese food is not greasy and super fresh. Cheap prices too.
I was really hungry after a concert at the fox theater so I stopped by on my way home & the food really surpassed my expectations. The egg rolls were ridiculously good.
