I like this Oakridge the best I have four kids and I buy a lot of deli stuff. I like this deli better than any other stores that I shop at. The people that work behind the counter during the day are just plain nice and helpful. If I want to try something they always offer a slice, or if I have all of my kids with me, 4 slices! The produce department is small, but adequate if I can't get over to Meijer. I have been to all the Oakridges and this is my favorite. PROS: clean store, nice people CONS: congested aisles at times
Double $1 cpns, limited choice and some expired I love to go to Oakridge with my $1 coupons. Although some stuff is priced higher than the chain grocers, with the doubled $1 coupons, it ends up cheaper. I prefer to buy my cleaners and the like here. The hand-off for these savings is choice. Oakridge does not usually get "New" items in for a few months, and I have found expired product on numerous occassions (namely baby items). A smaller, local grocery store with a nice selection and fairly competitive prices as compared to Meijer and the other huge mega stores. The real great factor of Oakridge though is that they double coupons up to and INCLUDING $1.00. An excellent way to save money on some good sale items.
