I happened to be in the neighborhood, so I dropped by and bought a few things. The staff were very helpful, efficient, and friendly.
There is no park here. It is just a messy concrete jungle of tall buildings, dusty, dirty and windy. It is awful and ugly.
Just 3 weeks ago walking to the Cambie sky train station (outside of the royal bank and td bank across the train station) around lunch time, a construction worker, looks like a Mexican, was walking towards me and I saw his both eyes and face were all reddened and had strong smell of marijuana. I guess he was stoned.

One person has already died because of lack of safety. Yet every few minutes hoards of construction workers are J-walking across the road at all hours whether dark before sun comes up or in the middle of the day. It’s SO DANGEROUS. No care in the world from the managing contractors. I guess I would expect another death before your project ends… Practically just closing their eyes and going for it. Come up with a real plan/barrier so the workers CANT DANGEROUSLY CUT ACROSS THE ROAD. Do better…. I’ve never seen such a big site... read more
