Oakridge Kennels is well established as a retriever sport training and all breed boarding facility. We are located in Monroe, North Carolina - convenient to both the Charlotte and Concord areas. We specialize in retrieving breeds and train gun dogs for the serious waterfowl and upland bird hunter. Terry Price, has over 25 years of experience working with dogs and is an avid outdoorsman and hunter. Along with our facilities and on site training grounds, we have access to over 2,000 acres of private training areas.

I posted a horrible review on this business by mistake - it was supposed to be posted on Oakridge Kennel & Homestead in Utah (they do inbreeding and crossbreed of Poodles & Leonbergers, as an example). PLEASE disregard my negative review that got associated with Oakridge Kennels. I don't know how to remove it.
No responsible breeder would ever breed a Leonberger to a Poodle. Also with the multitude of crossbreeds, it is essential to demand health testing results for at least 5 generations back in the bloodline. Make sure there are no fathers bred their mothers or daughters or sisters & no mothers bred to their brothers, fathers or sons. With a small gene pool it's very likely that dogs will have genetic predispositions for bad health. BE CAREFUL and don't pay ridiculous prices for any dog.
Absolutely worst experience!! We took our 8 month golden retriever to Terry Price with the expectation he would be trained in obedience and retrieving. He also explained our dog would be socialized with other dogs that he would make sure he got along with. Socialization being a very important factor with a young dog. 2 weeks into our Golden's training we went to visit him and we didn't recognized the dog they said was ours.
