I had bad experience with the front desk lady. My son went the clinic today for regular cleaning. I requested that we only want to have services covered by our insurance. The insurance company replied to their estimation which includes 3 units for scaling that only 2 units of scaling will be covered. But the reception lady emphasized that 3units of scaling is only estimation and did nothing. Their final invoice ends up with 3 units of scaling and I had to pay 1 unit out of pocket. Shockingly, I think I've been coming here nearly two decades! I've chipped a tooth and had it repaired in minutes the following day! I've had major work done as gently as can be imagined. They've taken care of all my billing through insurance so I never had to lift a finger, and they've accommodated me with multiple emails and texts to ensure I know where and when I should show up...lol. Best dental experience I've had in my 46 years! Staff is friendly and professional, very trustworthy and honest dentist. My hygienist today, Vera, was amazing. Gentle, I felt no pain with the cleaning, very thorough, I've never had any other hygienist check for lumps around neck/jaw area or do polish on back of teeth! I'm extremely happy with the whole experience.
I had been afraid of going to a dentist after several bad experiences that resulted in pain. I couldn’t put it off any longer and started researching dentists who specialized scaredy cats like me. That’s how I found Dr. Merkeley’s office. No judgement, very understanding and we came up with a plan to get my oral health back to top grade and very gentle when it came to the needles.
