I have been using Akumin for years. I am finally done. This will be my last experience with them. The scheduling was fine and the girl sweet as can be. But, I was misinformed to show up an hour early. Not fair. When not at all necessary. When I arrived, the front door is broken, noisy, scary and it's used many times in a minute. Arrived 15-minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment. Waited for one hour past my appointment time and left without receiving service. I called the facility administrator and left a voice message to call. So far, crickets... Avoid like the plague.
Terrible experience almost a 1hour and a half wait time with an appointment. So frustrating and unacceptable.
Yesterday January 5 I went there for Ctscan and after for RX for my pelvis so I have to wait outside, so after 1 HOYR NOBODY CALLME i went to the woman take my papers and ask what happens and she answer " we don't get the prescription for your Rx!!! So i call my dr.and tell me YES WE SENDED ALREADY!!!! and the woman in the desk told me I DON'T GET IT!!!!! etc.etc.etc.and i left after 1.15 hs waiting there,and the employees don't tell me nothing!! I have to comeback TODAY AGAIN FOR RX .......
