AWFUL! Rude staff at the front desk.
Horrible. They called me 4 times never left a message and finally on the 5th time they asked me to come in early. I did. No issue on my part. Get there and the woman behind the desk says, do you have an appointment? Not hello. Not how we can assist you. Just cold. Then I sat for over 30min past the time they asked me to come in. Finally I go back for a CT. No one cleaned the patient area. Dirty paper from previous person still on bed. I asked for the restroom prior to scan. This woman who showed me was very nice and fun. Those people are not serious, I did my ultrasound with them I had a copay and they refunded me because everything was covered by insurance, 3 weeks later they are sending me a bill for the same procedure, when i called no one could answer WHY! They are so unprofessional. _ They are asking me to contact them when i do they keep turning me around and No one know what is going on, no one can give me an explanation they keep me on the line for half a day and keep transferring my call. Avoid Akumin — Disorganized, Disrespectful, and Completely Dismissive of Your Time. I arrived 25 minutes early for my appointment to strictly adhere to Akumin's "15 minutes prior" policy. Despite being an existing patient in their system and having already completed and submitted all paperwork online, they handed me a clipboard with 10 more repetitive forms to fill out.The front desk staff changed shifts right as I handed in the forms.
