My Father was transferred here for rehab. No one seems to know where he is. His phone goes straight to voicemail, meaning that it is not near him or not charged(he is 93) when I call they don't even know where he is. DO NIT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!
Property is so pristine and peaceful, a small oasis tucked away. The staff are so kind and accommodating. Definitely a place to consider for those twilight years.
I'm currently here at Oakland Heights. The rehab people are top notch and are compassionate and excellent at their jobs. The CNAs have been caring as well. They ask about how I'm doing and scold me if I'm not eating. The real issue comes during the night. There are not enough people to service this place. I have gotten the story that they have enough people mandated by the state. Well, that's not enough. Right now, as I write this, I have been waiting 45 minutes after pressing my call button. The people at OAK Heights treated & cared for me so well. Special mention re Julius, Elizabeth, Cindy, Kopela, Judy, Anson , Marsha, Jackie, Arsenio, Allya, Selene, Peony, Dee, Nick & the list goes on.
