Made me cry :( Had my name on the list for a cute cat. Visited two weekends in a row to see if she was ready to be taken home. They said they would call early in the week? never received the call. I called later in the week and they said they already adopted it to someone else. I was FIRST on the list. They claimed they called and couldn't get through to anybody? my phone ALWAYS receives calls and there were NO missed calls from them.
Oakland County Animal Control - Dead Skunk in Road Called them and checked policy on removing a dead skunk from the road in front of my house; they did not offer that service, but will pickup dogs, cats and deer. The Oakland County Animal Control worker I talked to said, "I could pick it up." This really stinks.
Pet Adoption We have adopted several animals from the Oakland County Animal Control. We have loved them dearly. The center is clean and the animals are well cared for there. The staff is friendly and helpful.
