the nursing care here is amazing! and the director of nursing really knows her stuff and thats what seniors need is good nurses who know how to care for complex health concerns. I highly suggest Redwood if you need intense nursing attention post hospital
I was in the care of Redwoods for a little over a month. The moment I came through the door, they all welcome me with open arms and made sure I was comfortable. The CNA’s were constantly checking to see if I needed anything. The nurses were really helpful and answered any questions I had regarding my medication, injury, etc to the best of the ability. I wish I could give this zero stars. My family member was admitted to this rehab facility following surgery, and our experience has raised some serious concerns about professionalism, patient respect, and the overall environment of care at this facility (and the workers) A nurse administered melatonin and instructed her to go to sleep at around 8 pm without providing a medical explanation or clearly stating that the medication was optional.
