Suffering from withdrawals only 24hours from checking out of Bert & Poppy. What a magical and luxurious stay. This was a surprise birthday for my husbands 40th. As soon as we checked in he realised why I was so excited to bring him to such a place. The views, the seclusion, the sheep, that hot tub! We stayed at Bert and Poppys for two nights, and while we had an overall nice time, I would offer some points for potential customers to consider: No instruction was provided for the hot tub, and the kindling and wood are kept separate from each other. It cooled quickly once we arrived and was finnicky and difficult to relight without instructions. The property is HOT during the day. There is no awning or shade to sit under on the balcony, or anywhere else, and the building itself has one window and one small fan. Given that... read more
What an unforgettable experience staying at Oakhill Estate - Glasshouse Cabins. The cabin was extreme luxury with the most spectacular views. The sunset from your cabin is breathtaking and the sunrise definitely worth getting up early for. Clay and Erin are so welcoming and no question or request was too much trouble. We loved being able to take long, peaceful walks around the property and spotting the kangaroos and other wildlife and then relaxing in the hot tub (a definite highlight of our stay). After many months of eyeing off this experience I finally booked it for my wedding anniversary. Wow, Ray & Mary cabin exceeded all expectations, uninterrupted views of the gorgeous bushland, modern and cozy cabin fitted with all the comforts you need and a gorgeous breakfast plate ready to cook up in the morning!
