The motel is great value, everything is great about it. We have no complaints at all. However we have an unfortunate incident with two boiled eggs in the microwave that exploded. We cleaned up as best we could , but we also admit there would have been more detailing needed. When I went to book again we were denied because of an incident. Really lovely owners, Beautiful, Clean and tidy rooms. Plenty of room to park a truck at the front when needed Couldn’t ask for much better (plus the RSL delivers to here)

I had the pleasure of staying at the Oakey motel on the night of 10th July 2025. The owners were very pleasant and very accommodating. They also offered much information on food venues and things to do in Oakey. The room was nice and clean and well maintained. The room even had Foxtel available. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of tea and coffee. Bathroom was fresh and clean with soap and shampoo available. Was a pleasure to stay. I highly recommend staying at the Oakey motel just across the road from the Barn.

Clean and comfortable motel, with everything you could need. Kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery/crockery, hairdryer etc. The aircon worked a treat when it got cold too! Cleanliness is top notch and all fixtures and fittings are in great condition. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful and were very gracious when I locked myself out of my room. There's a takeaway and supermarket within walking distance to the motel and a very quick drive away is a tavern, RSL, more supermarkets and other takeaway choices/bottlo.... read more
