We bought a truck from here a month ago and can’t get the computer to factory reset. We have tried calling this dealership multiple times, have left multiple voicemails to not hear back from them. We called Ford directly and they told us to reach out to the dealership, who can’t seem to return our calls and any other dealership wants to charge us to fix it. We shouldn’t have to pay to fix a computer issue when we have had the truck for only a month.
On 3.1.23 I took my 2013 Superduty to Oakes for a radiator flush. Later that day I recieved a text message stating both my primary and secondary coolant systems were leaking on the lower passenger side because they were wet. I had already informed Clev and Tony that I had removed the egr cooler over the weekend and the engine bay was saturated with coolant. I was taken back to visit with the tech by Tony. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. After doing an inspection, it was found that my F150 was in need of some other routine preventive maintenance. I was not pressured to do the extra work. I was given a prioritized list of what needed serviced. I will return to get it all completed at a later date.
My experience with Oaks has been consistently disappointing. The first time I took my car in, it was leaking coolant. They told me there was no leak, but I kept having to top it off. I eventually took it elsewhere and had the actual issue properly diagnosed and repaired. The second time, they performed an oil change but forgot to put the oil fill cap back on. Oakes Ford has been a wonderful experience from when I bought my Eacape from them to all my service appointments. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend Oakes Ford! They are worth the drive!!
