This is the best restaurant in Vermont – the one in Montpelier. Here often and I’m loving the venue right now. The root vegetable lasagna was incredible as was the deli, squash salad, apple and fennel salad and the cheddar fritters. I also love the unique cocktail called the English mistress with Earl Grey, tea, Pinot Noir and lemon
Very disappointing experience, particularly given that we had made a reservation in advance. We arrived promptly for our 7:30 PM reservation, only to be told that our table wasn’t ready as the previous guests had arrived late. While we completely understood the initial delay, 20 minutes passed with no further communication or update, despite several tables appearing to be available. This menu, atmosphere, service and everything were stellar! They had a great live jazz band there on a Thursday night which was such a surprise and treat. The bone marrow, schnitzel, chicken bao buns, etc. were so good.
A wonderful dining experience in Woodstock! The food was thoughtfully executed and elevated, with creative and unexpected flavour combinations that worked beautifully together. Every dish felt well-balanced, allowing the individual ingredients to shine without anything overpowering the others. The beverage selection was equally impressive, with some great options to complement the food. A refreshing dining experience that strikes a lovely balance between creativity and flavour. Definitely worth visiting when in Woodstock!
